OUR FAMILY-OWNED FARM
Our dream was always to own a farm filled with animals to love. We have the joy of raising and breeding show quality Nigerian Dwarf Goats for dairy, show, and farm pets.
The name of our farm is special to our family. The name Floofy Farms was inspired by our first family pet, a Great Pyrenees dog we fostered and adopted in 2019 named Forrest. This special dog, with his beautiful, white fluffy coat changed our lives forever for the better. We fondly call him "Floofy" as one of his many nicknames. Floofy is a spin on the word fluffy, as he is one of the fluffiest dog breeds one could own!

There are many places you can purchase ADGA Nigerian Dwarf goats from, but not every place is equal in the quality, care, and reason for being apart of the farming world!
QUALITY: Our goal for our Nigerian Dwarf herd is to excel on the milkstand, in the show ring, and beautifully represent the breed standard! We showcase our ADGA Nigerian Dwarf herd quality through ADGA shows and participating in Linear Appraisal. Our goats have decorated pedigrees and we continue to prove those strong dairy lines and breed standard through our performance home.
CARE: Herd management is pivotal to the lifelong health and success of our goats. We provide our does with quality 2nd cut grass hay, alfalfa, Blue Seal dairy goat grain, and other grain supplements. All of our goats are tested annually for CAE, Johnes, and CL. We also will screen for Q-Fever on any new herd members. We carefully monitor our goats and have a trusted livestock vet on hand for all our needs.
REASON: We adore our goats and fell in love with their personable and hardworking nature! They provide us with goat milk that nourishes our family. We craft goat cheese, goat milk yogurt, goat milk soap, and more for ourselves. We selected the chicken breeds we raise because we fell in love with their floofy and unique features, friendly disposition, collecting every egg color possible each day, and laughing at their silly antics.
